Over the long weekend we had the opportunity to go up to Island Park with Sean's twin brother, his wife, and her family at their cabin on Henry's Lake. It was so nice of them to invite us and we were thrilled to come along. The weather was a little bit cold and rainy, but we had a good time non the less. June loved to sit on this little chair in the picture above. It was just her size and I think she thought she was pretty cool to be sitting up like a big girl.
Sean and Brett did some fishing off the dock, but didn't catch anything. They also tried several times to shoot a muskrat with a pellet gun. In this picture Sean is the lookout and Brett is the shooter. He must have been a pretty lucky muskrat because the guys were never able to get him.
We went through Yellowstone Park on Sunday. I had never been up to Mammoth so we went up north to visit that area of the park. I am so glad that we did because we saw a BEAR!!!!! I have always wanted to see a bear out in the wild and on that day my dream came true. It was a brown bear and we were smart enough to stay about 50 yards away from it. The batteries in our camera had just died before we saw the bear, so I have no proof, but I promise that I am telling the truth. It was pretty sweet.
